Understanding how web design & development works in Kenya

In web design & development, Developers have several tools for the project, others for layout, others for programming, and for debugging. All the tools used are very important, from the CMS & Blog platforms to the most insignificant command, and therefore designers and developers must choose the most appropriate to the clients needs and capabilities. To choose the tools to use, the developer must first identify the phases of the process that form the life cycle of a Website design & development process in Kenya

Design:
The design consists of creating sketches and mockups of the final webite using a graphic tools.

Layout (Html/CSS):
The layout consists of converting the sketches created in the previous phase into HTML templates, their respective style sheet, and the images used. It is possible to skip the previous phase to start directly with this phase, depending on whether we master the tools or not.

Front End Development:
Consists of JavaScript, A website may not need to do front end programming, such as a small corporate website with little static information.

Backend Development:
In this phase, which is developed together with the previous one, you can create the web application in a server language, such as PHP, ASP .NET, Python, Perl, etc.

Upload Files to The Hosting:
Once web development is completed and well tested on local servers, it’s uploaded to the live server. Depending on the hosting, The developer uses FTP (File Transfer Protocols) to upload your website to the live server
I hope this will help you understand the processes involved in developing a website in Kenya. Developers take into account the development phases and use the right tools: the one that is
easiest for their clients to use.
